Thanks for making this video. I have a marker at this site in Google maps. Unlike the receiver site, there is no Google street view of the transmitter site. Google's street view shows the main road, but all one can see is the beginning of the concrete road, which stretches off into the distance.

They would have cut it down at the time of the accident. A transmitter can tell the wavelength,strength, and type of trsnsmitter, and general direction. It was still the cold war, hence the reactors were there for more than the civillan population.

Wow, been looking for footage of this place for years then your video pops up randomly. All I've seen is on google maps. There is a video on here that might be this location on the day they were leaving. There's some internal footage as well, I'm pretty sure its here. Also they climbed the antenna. I wonder if there's much left inside the building?! Search for Duga - Nadajnik Lubecz-1 (unikatowe nagranie) on here, it will come up.. :)

Пропоную знайти вентиляційни грати біля підлогі, та поміряти дозиметром там. ДПР Радону зостається на ґратах та дуже гарно фонить. Наприклад, коли в підвали вимкнути пилосос зробивши фільтр на трубі десь на 10 хвілин він теж насосе пару сотен мікроренген на годину.
